About Me

A Sinner Saved By Grace

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ — by grace you have been saved — and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
For by grace you have been saved through faith.
And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Welcome to my corner of the internet! My name is Chris Voeltner, and I'm glad you're here. I've been blogging on a variety of topics for about seven years, though I've never settled on a specific focus or maintained a regular schedule. But as this is an 'about me' page, let me share a bit more about who I am and what I do.

I'm a husband and father, married to my wonderful wife Lexie since March 2014. We have two children as well. I made a bold move, leaving a great job at Apple Inc. to become the Creative Director at Kindred Community Church in Anaheim Hills, CA. I served on staff for nearly 9 years until I decided to run my own media agency, Voeltner Media.

My passions include my family, photography, cinematography, website design, blogging, and most importantly, my faith and the teachings of the Holy Word. Through this blog, I plan to explore and discuss Biblical and political issues that impact our culture and society, offering my perspective as a Christian husband and father.

Thank you for joining me on this journey!

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
